Overview
QXB Submersible centrifugal aerator are self-aspirating aerators for wastewater and water treatment in municipal and industrial plants. The submersible aerator is primarily used in water pretreatment and biochemical wastewater treatment processes as a specialized aeration device. It is suitable for aeration and mixing in grit chambers, pre-aeration tanks, aeration tanks, flotation tanks, and other similar applications. It also be used for oxygenation in aquaculture ponds and the maintenance of landscape water bodies.
Working Principle
The QXB submersible aerator features a unique hydraulic component design that optimizes the gap between the impeller and the guide vane, incorporating a star-shaped impeller design and radial water-air mixing channels. The high-speed rotating impeller generates centrifugal force in the water, creating a negative pressure zone that draws in air. This air is shredded and mixed with water in the mixing chamber. Through the diffusion channel, the high-speed ejected microbubbles increase the contact area between air and water, enhancing oxygen utilization efficiency and forming an effective spiral water flow circulation.
