QSB Submersible jet aerator is a specialized aeration device used in water pretreatment and biochemical wastewater treatment processes. It is suitable for aeration and mixing in grit chambers, pre-aeration tanks, and oxidation tanks. Additionally, the submersible jet aerator can be used for oxygenation in aquaculture ponds and the maintenance of landscape water bodies. It is also applicable in the removal of iron and manganese in the initial stages of drinking water processes and in the water replenishment and circulation systems of high-rise buildings.

 

Working Principle

 

When the submersible pump operates, the resulting water flow forms a high-speed jet through the nozzle. Due to the negative pressure created around the nozzle in the mixing chamber, air is drawn in and meets the high-speed water flow through the throat pipe, generating microbubbles that mix with the water and are ejected at high speed. This water flow creates a strong, unidirectional current over a large area, providing aeration, mixing, and flow-pushing functions, particularly suitable for biochemical reaction tanks. Its shaft power does not change with submersion depth, making it ideal for tanks with significant water level fluctuations.
