Overview
The Rotary Drum Screen is an efficient treatment equipment that achieves solid-liquid separation through mechanical rotation. Its core consists of a cylindrical stainless steel screen, a modular conveying component, and an adaptive slag discharge system. Its application areas cover urban sewage pretreatment, industrial wastewater purification, food processing wastewater treatment, papermaking wastewater recycling, and other scenarios. It is suitable for treating complex liquids containing short fibers, scum, and low-density suspended matter.

High treatment efficiency
The Rotary Drum Screen adopts a dual separation mechanism of "centrifugal force + water flow flushing": when the screen rotates at 10-15rpm, it generates a centrifugal force equivalent to 5-8 times the gravity, so that high-density particles are close to the inner wall of the screen; at the same time, the internal spiral blades push the water flow to form an axial vortex to flush the adhered low-density suspended matter. The single device to process 50-300m³/h and an impurity removal rate of ≥80%.
Easy to maintain
The equipment adopts a cantilever structure without an intermediate bearing, combined with a quick snap-on screen module, and a single person can complete the screen replacement within 10 minutes. Key components use standardized interfaces, and fault location time is shortened by 70%. The maintenance cost of the Rotary Drum Screen is about 40% lower than that of traditional equipment.
Precise separation
The surface of the screen adopts a variable aperture wedge wire design, combined with a 35° installation angle, so that the water flow channel forms a laminar state, and the separation accuracy reaches 0.25mm. By adjusting the rotation speed and the slag discharge gap, the Rotary Drum Screen can adapt to the separation needs of liquids with different viscosities, and the suspended matter retention rate is increased by 35%-50%.
