Working Principle
The mechanical bar screen consists of nylon or stainless steel rakes evenly spaced along a rake shaft, forming a closed rake chain. Installed at an inclined angle within a channel, the system operates as the transmission drives the sprocket to rotate at a constant speed, propelling the entire rake chain in a continuous cyclical motion from top to bottom. As the rakes traverse the channel, they intercept and lift solid waste from the water surface, while the fluid passes freely through the inter-rake gaps. Upon reaching the upper terminal and reversing direction, the debris-laden rakes release their collected material under gravity, completing a seamless and uninterrupted separation process.
