Overview

Inclined Tube Settler is a water treatment device, commonly used in drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment and industrial water treatment. This device is made of PP material and has multiple inclined pipes, which are adjacent and arranged at an angle of 60° to form a larger effective sedimentation area, capture and settle fine particles and pollutants in the water, thereby improving the quality of the effluent.

Features

Efficient Sedimentation
The fluid in the inclined tube of Inclined Tube Settler flows along the surface of the inclined tube. Due to the action of gravity, the suspended particles settle downward during the flow, and after contacting the surface of the inclined tube, they slide to the bottom, and finally achieve solid-liquid separation. Compared with vertical sedimentation, this inclined design shortens the sedimentation path of the particles, thereby shortening the particle sedimentation time to 50% of the traditional sedimentation tank, and improving the sedimentation efficiency.

Corrosion Resistance
The main body of Inclined Tube Settler is made of PP material, which has strong corrosion resistance and can resist chemical environments with a pH value in the range of 2-12. Compared with ordinary steel, its corrosion resistance is improved by more than 60%. Due to its strong corrosion resistance, the equipment can maintain more than 90% structural integrity in municipal sewage treatment projects within 10 years.

Easy To Install
The Inclined Tube Settler adopts a modular assembly structure, which is similar to building blocks. The equipment can be installed by splicing modules one by one, without the need for complex on-site processing. A single module weighs as little as 5-7 kg, which is easy to carry and can be installed by one person. Compared with traditional sedimentation equipment, the installation time of this equipment is reduced by 45%, from an average of 8 hours to less than 4 hours, which improves the flexibility and efficiency of installation.

Applications

Inclined tube settler for sewage water treatment offers an inexpensive method of upgrading existing water treatment plant clarifiers and sedimentation basins to improve performance. They can also reduce the tankage/ footprint required in new installations or improve the performance of existing settling basins by reducing the solids loading on downstream filters.
