Rotary Blower

Rotary blower is a blower that relies on the rotary motion of the rotor in the casing to alternately expand and reduce the working volume, thereby sucking in gas and increasing the gas pressure. Rotary blower has the advantages of simple structure, continuous and uniform exhaust, and is particularly suitable for occasions where the required pressure is not high but the flow rate is large.

Description
Overview

HC Rotary blower features a compact design, primarily consisting of the following six components: motor, air filter, blower host, air tank, base (which also functions as an oil tank), and oil drip nozzle. The blower operates with an eccentrically rotating rotor inside the cylinder. As the rotor rotates, the volume between the blades in the rotor slots changes, drawing in, compressing, and discharging air. During operation, the pressure difference within the blower automatically delivers lubricating oil to the oil drip nozzle, which drips into the cylinder. This lubrication reduces friction and noise while also minimizing the backflow of air within the cylinder.

Features

  • Small size, large air volume, low noise and low energy consumption.
  • Stable operation, easy installation, no need to install anti-vibration device.
  • High-quality material, compact structure, excellent performance.
  • Simple maintenance, low speed, small wear, less failure and longer service life.
  • Equipped with an air chamber, the air dissipates smoothly and can prevent air pulsation.
  • Anti-load change, stable air volume: the air volume changes little with the pressure change.

FAQ

Q: Is it normal for oil to seep out of the outlet pipe of the rotary blower?

A: The rotary blower is an oil-lubricated blower, and the exhaust air will contain a certain amount of oil mist. Although the oil-gas separator (air storage tank) has been continuously improved, it is inevitable that the high temperature generated by the compression of the rotary blower will cause the lubricating oil to evaporate to a certain extent. Therefore, users must regularly observe the oil level during the use of the fan to avoid unnecessary losses.

Q: How to replace the belt of the rotary blower when it slips?

A: After rotary blower has been running for a period of time, the V-belt will stretch. At this time, the pulley of the rotary blower will slip, causing the blower to heat up, the blower speed to drop, and the air volume to be insufficient. At this time, loosen the fixing bolts of the motor, move the motor, tighten the V-belt to the appropriate position, and then tighten the fixing bolts of the motor. Note that the end faces of the motor pulley and the fan pulley should be on the same plane. At the same time, check whether the tightening screws of the two pulleys are loose. If they are loose, tighten them. If the belt stretches too much and the tension cannot be adjusted, it needs to be replaced.

Q: What should I do if the rotary blower is hit during transportation or installation?
A: After the rotary blower is hit during transportation or installation, it may generally cause the fan rotor to deviate and the blower to malfunction. If a collision occurs, first pull the fan belt by hand to see if the blower can rotate normally. If the blower can rotate normally without any sense of heaviness, the blower has no fault. If rotary blower cannot be pulled, or can be pulled but with a sense of heaviness, it means that the rotor is deviated. At this time, you can loosen the rear cover bolts, gently tap the blower rear cover with a wooden hammer, and pull the blower belt at the same time until the belt can be pulled without any sense of heaviness, and then tighten the rear cover.
